I found this bookish meme on Book Chick City and thought it looked fun! So here goes!
Hardback, trade paperback or mass market paperback?
I like the bigger paperbacks but also mass market ones.
Waterstones, Borders or Amazon?
borders with the good 30 to 40% off coupons. I get alot of books at Target, Walmart etc
Bookmark or dog-ear?
ALWAYS a bookmark. I even make my own whether it be bookthings or handmade scrapbooked bookmarks.
Amazon or bricks-and-mortar?
depends..I love picking them up but i shop ebay ALOT
Alphabetize by author, or alphabetize by title, or random?
I sort mine by Author.
Keep, throw away, or sell?
I keep mine, especially my favorite authors but this past month i have been doing paperback swap to get new books too
Keep dust jacket or toss it?
seriously? keep! I take them off to read then put them back on when i am done.
Read with dust jacket or remove it?

Short story or novel?
Novel. I love to get to know the characters and a well weaven plot
Harry Potter or Lemony Snicket?
Harry Potter of course! I love the books..have them all on audio too! The whole family loves them!
Buy or borrow?
Buy. I like them to be mine! LOL
Buying choice: book reviews, recommendations, or browse?
All three. 90% of the time i know what i want.
Tidy ending or cliffhanger?
Tidy ending especially in stand alone novels. If it is a series I like to have at least the plot story resolved. I hate feeling like only half of the story was told and i have to wait 6 months to a year to read the next one.
Morning reading, afternoon reading, or nighttime reading?
nighttime. I love to read when everyone is asleep.

oh gee..well i had read the tanya huff blood ties books long before most and the TV show..

percy jacksons, gena showalters, christine warrens, oh gosh and so many more

Harry potters
Favourite book to recommend to an 11-year-old?
the percy jacksons…especially for boys and the house of night especially for girls….vampire diaries and the secret circle too..loved those.

Harry Potter and Twilight
Do you ever smell books?
uhh…no.
Do you ever read primary source documents like letters or diaries?
Not really…but i did enjoy candace haven’t charmed series that is written like a diary.
What are you reading right now?
Circle of Souls. I have a ton of new books to read though!! I went crazy with the 40% off coupons and bought those big YA books with 2 to 3 books republished in a book..LOL!

well I have 2 molly harper nice girls don’t series, I have 3 savannah russe books, 2 lara adrian, and a pile of YA books.

Oh, this is neat! I love HP and the Anita Blake series', too, and I have the first Sookie Stackhouse book in my TBR pile. I haven't read the Vampire Diaries yet; are they good?

Michele, yes I have read the vampire academy series except the brand new one…Is on my want list for sure!! I would easily give the series a 4 out of 5…some books even a 5.
thekams, yes the vampire diaries are good but not anywhere near as awesome as twilight. They are definately worth a read. Now sookie's series rocks! I love sookie and have read the series at least twice! Even my 17 yr old son loves sookie! LOL!
