When the life you wanted has crumbled beneath your fingers, there’s nothing left to do but pick up the pieces and soldier on. You’ve done this before.
But what happens when you no longer feel like yourself anymore? When fires spontaneously start-up around you, when you hear growling coming from underneath your bed, and you no longer recognize your face in the mirror. What happens then?
Ghost-hunter Perry Palomino doesn’t have much time to find out. Now, the evil she used to hunt is a lot closer to home. It’s inside of her, taking over her life bit-by-terrifying bit, and there’s only one person who can help her.
If part of her doesn’t kill him first
Review
This is book 5 in the Experiment in Terror series. I have to admit there were a few part of this were I was cringing while reading..not giving anything away but wow. The story flowed nicely and the book ended with a cliffhanger. I know this is done to get you excited and buy the next book but I want to find out what is going to happen now!
The characters – there are some I really liked like Perry and some I really hated. I really liked the sister and was glad Perry had someone who she could count on. She really needed her in this book! The ones I disliked are a few like the parent and a few others I don’t want to mention so I won’t ruin the book for anyone. Lets just say there are a few I would love to smack!
Overall, the book was a good read. It had a good plot, and kept me interested reading into the night.

I really get scared during thunder, I know it is not logical, as it is the lightening that is the true danger, but the thunder just scares me LOL
That brief moment when you can’t find your kid.
There are so many good reviews of this book. I am so excited. Did you find this book scarier than Lying Season? I’ve read in some reviews about the return of a certain ‘friend’ of Dex’s. What’s he like in this book compared to Red Fox?

Spiders!!! They creep me out
Losing someone I love.
I am totally afraid of the dark. The unknown in the dark, not knowing what is around you.

What’s been your favorite book in the series so far? I love Red Fox and Lying Season myself. On Demon Wings was the perfect next book! I can’t wait for Into The Hollow!

I don’t like spiders or the dark.
Small, dark places. Like Closet Small while you can’t even see your hand a millimeter from your face, then hearing a sound. OMG Heart Attack!

Well actually just anywhere so dark that you can’t see your hand, it doesn’t have to be small. Now that I think about it, I should be more afraid about BIG, dark rooms…
